"Dreams give you a reason to live, facts don't." - Asif Sultan Matta
Dreams are very important. One of the amazing things we have been given as humans is the unquenchable desire to have dreams of a better life, and the ability to establish goals to live out those dreams. We must know what we want to do in life and follow that aspiration. For, we can't achieve anything in life without dreams. If you don't have a dream or a goal you will end up nowhere. Only with dreams, you will find a purpose in life.
But with dreams, come great responsibilities. It's not just enough to dream and forget about it. Many people dream but only a few wake up to work for it. It is very essential to work hard for your dreams. Without this hard work, your dream will only remain a desire. Even if you become successful, you will never find peace in what you are doing. Sometimes you will feel demotivated and degraded but it's only your dream that can make you happy and enjoy the luxuries of life. Sometimes you will have to risk everything for your dreams but it's a risk worth taking. As goes a wise saying:
"Sometimes life is about risking everything for a dream no one can see, but you."
Have you ever heard of Narayanmurthy, the founder of Infosys? He was not born with a silver spoon in mouth. He had a dream of making one of the biggest companies in the world and he achieved that dream by working on it. He says, "Build an aspirational dream and an action plan to make your dreams a reality." How do you think Jeff Bezos became the richest man in the world? It's not because of a fluke, it's because he worked really hard to make his dreams a reality. Shah Rukh Khan, one of the biggest movie stars in the world, had a dream too. A dream of becoming what he is today. He saw some tough times but he never gave up. All the great personalities in the world had a dream and they are where they are today because they worked on it.
Most of the people let their dreams die because of the world and society. The world today crushes the one who does not have guts to stand for himself. You don't dream for the world, you dream for yourself. So, you should not let anyone overpower you and tell you what to do.
Iqbal says,"KHAMOSH MIZAJI TUJHE JEENE NAHI DEGI ISS DAUR ME REHNA HAI TOH KOHRAM MACHADO"
Nick Vujicic a man without arms and legs, one of the best motivational speakers once said, " If you haven't found something worth dying for, you haven't found something worth living for."
Dreams make you alive!
